Champaign County chamber hires new executive director

The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce has appointed Susie Koennecke as their new Executive Director.
Koennecke was officially welcomed into her new position on Feb. 12, 2019. Koennecke stepped up in September 2018 to serve as interim Executive Director while the chamber looked to fill the position.
“The chamber let me fill in while they were in the process of looking to hire,” Koennecke said. “They went through a long process of interviewing a bunch of people and ultimately I was chosen by the group to stay in the position.”\
