Clark County businesses expressed a need for local comparison data as a way to benchmark their own wages and benefit packages in order to attract and retain qualified workers. Through a partnership with Wittenberg University and OhioMeansJobs Clark County, the Chamber has been able to respond to this need with a local Wage & Benefit Survey over the past several years. Wage Trends
The average worker in Clark County, Ohio earned annual wages of $38,338 as of 2017Q2, Average annual wage per worker increased 3.5% in the region during the preceding four quarters.
Annual average wages per worker are derived from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and imputed where necessary. Data are updated through 2016Q4 with preliminary estimates updated to 2017Q2.
