Ohio added 50,500 jobs over past year (Database of job growth by state)

Ohio added 50,500 jobs during the past year, according to new employment data released this morning by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
But that was about half of New York's 100,000 jobs added from October 2015 to October 2016, making it one of five states to register a six-figure gain.
The report also indicated that the Pacific Northwest has become the pacesetter for U.S. job growth.
