Recognizing the important connection between strong schools, student learning, and improved economic and workforce development outcomes, a consortium of Springfield, Ohio school districts, including Clark-Shawnee Local Schools, Global Impact STEM Academy (GISA), Springfield City School District, and Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center, have partnered together to form the Greater Springfield CareerConnectED Consortium.
Global Impact STEM Academy is an early-college high school focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curriculum and has specialized its core gateways to lead our students from the time they begin high school until they enter college or into specialized professional industries that affect our day-to-day lives.
Student internship experiences are valuable for students and for companies. The CareerConnectED team is committed to working with companies to create a new internship program, expand an existing one, or identify ways companies can partner with our educators and students. These High School students come with job readiness training, prepared to interview, and with the understanding of today's workplace.
