OH: Coronavirus: Springfield to use $1.8M federal transit grant for operating expenses, maintenance

May 15--The City of Springfield, Ohio has been awarded a grant to help with public transportation costs amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

The $1.8 million grant award was announced by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration.

The grant award is part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act approved by congress and signed by President Donald Trump in March.
